Edit1 - Introduction
One of the features of InphoniteVoice is a
Do Not Call list. This list will block customers from receiving phone calls, emails, or other forms of communication through InphoniteVoice.
This article discusses how to add contacts to the Do Not Call list.
Edit2 - More Information
There are two ways to add contacts to your Do No Call list. The first method will blocks communication to a phone number, email address, or Twitter account — regardless of the name of the contact or customer. The second method blocks an individual from being contacted, while allowing the related phone number(s), email address(es) and Twitter accounts to be used for other people.
Method 1: Block a Phone Number/Email addressTo block a phone number, email address, or Twitter account, click
Do Not Call List on the tree on the left. The window will look something like this:
To block a phone number, email address, or Twitter account, simply enter it in the 'Phone/Email' field, and provide an explanation 'Reason' field. When ready, click
Add to add the account to the list.
Should you need to remove an entry from the list, simply highlight the item and click
Delete on the toolbar.
Method 2: Block a ContactThe second method is to locate the contact in the 'Contacts' section, and double click it to open it. Simply check the
Do Not Contact box on the right.
Flagging a contact in this way will block this
individual from receiving calls, while allowing the email address or phone numbers to be used for communication to others. Using method 1, will block the phone number, email address or Twitter account from contact regardless of the name of the individual.
