1 - Introduction

When attempting to send a test written message by opening the message, choosing your email address or mobile number at the top, and clicking Save & Test, you might find that the message is not delivered. Further, you will not see any activity in the Interface Monitor in the InphoniteVoice Admin Client, nor any errors in the Messaging or Interface service logs. It will seem as though the test message simply disappeared.

2 - More Information

This normally happens when the Test Contact record does not have an appointment. For a message to be delivered, information pertaining to an appointment must be available in most cases, so an appointment of some kind must be present. So the solution for this problem is to add an appointment to your test contact.

To do this, go to Configuration > Test Contact and click the "Appointments" tab at the bottom of the window. Then simply click New Appointment on the toolbar to enter the details.

NOTE: The date and other details of the appointment are of no consequence. An appointment simply needs to be present.

After adding the appointment, try your test again. You should receive your test this time.
