2 - More Information

You can take some simple steps to keep your ReminderPro running at peak efficiency.

  1. The first is to simply reboot the ReminderPro computer once every week. This refreshes the drivers that control the hardware portion of ReminderPro.
  2. The second step is to occasionally purge client records from ReminderPro. This can be done by clicking on the Edit menu in the upper left corner and then selecting the Import Setup option. You then click on Update and choose the option Clear All. This clears all client records from the Calendar and Express and allows the ReminderPro Import Interface to run as designed.
  3. As part of your normal computer maintence, you will need to defrag the hard drive. This will help maintain the file structure of the ReminderPro files. The Disk Defragmenter can be found by clicking on the Windows Start button and clicking on All Programs and then choose the Accessories folder and then System Tools so you can then click on the Disk Defragmenter to run the defragmenter. This will have the additional benefit of making all programs on this computer run more efficiently.
  4. Additionally, it is wise to periodically clear out temporary files. To do this, click the Windows Start button and go to All Programs and then choose the Accessories folder and then System Tools. There you will see Disk Cleanup. Click that, and select the C: drive when prompted. On the window that appears, check only Temporary Files and click OK, and confirm deletion of the files. (NOTE: You need not check Temporary Internet Files as they do not pertain to ReminderPro.)

By following these simple basic steps, you can keep your ReminderPro system running smoothly.
